Prompt No. 1: Which Supreme Court Justice are you most like?

Elena Kagan is Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. She was nominated by our current President, Barack Obama, and assumed office August 7, 2010. She was previously 45th Solicitor General of the United States from March 19, 2009 to May 17, 2010.

She is against late-term abortions, for gay marriage and rights, and has no open views on gun control. Regarding gay rights, she believes the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy in the army is still biased and is strongly against it yet she believes people are completely entitled to anti-gay pickets as it's protected under the first amendment as Freedom of Speech. Kagan hasn't made an official statement about her opinion on gun control but there are hints and rumors that she is for gun control.

I honestly agree with most of her views on these three major issues. I have more moral restrictions on abortion than it simply being a late-term abortion but I believe late-term abortions should not be permitted at all, as does she. I completely agree with her views on Gay Rights and Marriage. They should have equal rights but others have their first amendment rights, including Freedom of Speech, which entitles them to protest as long as it's not harmful to others. I don't, however, agree with her alleged views on gun control. I believe owning guns, especially for our own protection is protected under the second amendment.

I say the assessment was pretty fair. I'm not sure about the personalities and views of all the other justices but I'd say Elena Kagan is a fairly close match.
